Reasons FOR the Nazi's having a "Moonbase" during WWII?

I remember my friend and I were reading on the internet the most stupidest article I had ever seen in my whole life, that the nazi's created a base on the moon during WWII. The funny thing was when my friend wondered what kind of **** they would be planning or doing if they actually did make a moonbase, its not like your going to fire missiles from it... which leads to my question
