Am i the only one who feels they are making too many "modern warfare" games?

I mean, about five years ago people were complaining about there being too many WWII games, now they have come out with COD 4, MW2, MW3, COD Black Ops (who's multiplayer appears almost no different than the multiplayer of a "modern warfare" game) battlefield 2, battlefield : Bad Company, battlefield : bad company 2, battlefield 3, medal of honor ( the latest one), how long do you think it will take before people get sick of the "modern warfare" era and start demanding something different? i know i have, ( im personally rooting for a battlefield 2142 era game, either a remake of a Treyarch COD : Future Warfare)
